Well, last nights video experiment confirmed what I expected. Hosting video directly on my site is not optimal. It loads slowly and that results in a laggy video. It could be that I should put it up at lower quality, but that doesn’t do what I want. So my future videos will continue to be posted through my YouTube channel, arohenTV.
I’ll throw some editing at last nights video, slap a cover screen on it, and get it up on my channel where you should be able to watch it without all the lag. Soon.
The basement bathroom is coming along, but just when I thought I had all the drywall hung, there’s more. I’m going to put up a soffit up over the sink and water closet, partially to hide the duct work but primarily so that I can locate the vent fan in it and make the venting easier. So I’ll be doing that tomorrow.
I saw this at the book store today and I’m intrigued. It was in with the roleplaying books, but flipping through the pages, I didn’t see any of the usual rulebook/adventure stuff. I looks more like a ‘what if’ sort of piece of fiction. The idea of carring the Cthuluhu stuff into modern day or just making it more impactful on the ‘real’ world is interesting. Does anyone know what it’s about? Is it any good? I guess I either need to buy it or do some research to get my own answers.
From the Patriots’ raid on the necromancer Joseph Curwen, to the Special Forces’ assault on Leng in 2007, this unique document reveals the secret and terrible struggle between the United States and the supernatural forces of Cthulhu. In this war, immortal cultists worship other-dimensional entities, and plot to raise an army of the dead. Incomprehensible undersea intelligences infiltrate and colonize American seaports, and alien races lurk beneath the ice of Antarctica and high in the mountains of Afghanistan. It is only through constant vigilance and violence that the earth has survived. Also included are threat reports describing the indescribable– humanity’s deadliest foes serving Cthulhu and the other Great Old Ones. Strange times are upon us, the world is changing, and even death may die– but, until then, the war continues.
