It’s that time of year again, not the time to make the changes (that’s a day or so off), but the time to decide what changes to make. It is time to think about making changes come the new year.
Time for the dreaded and oft maligned New Year Resolutions.
I know. I know. I’ve said no more resolutions. But I’m breaking that particular resolution in order to not break the holiday tradition of making New Years Resolutions.
Resolutions are decisions to do something or to not do something.
You don’t want to go overboard on this, or you’ll set yourself up for failure. But at the same time making just one or two implies that you lack motivation or a desire to better yourself.
So let’s do five.
Make a list of five decisions or resolutions you would ideally like to make happen in your life, then give some specifics as to how you will make that happen. What would success at those resolutions look like on a daily basis?
I’ll work on mine and we can share and compare on first day of the new year, 2014.
