Novel Revision

I’ve kept you in the dark long enough. I’ve finished the manuscript. I’ve still got to go through and make all the changes I marked up, add some scenes, and get rid of others, but It’s all inked up. I was very happy with the majority of the novel. But about halfway through chapter 11 I realized I was running towards the end. Chapters 11, 12, and maybe 13 are all going to have to be rewritten. I’m actually working on re-plotting the whole end of the book. And boy is it giving me a headache.
Well, yesterday I sat down to start writing and realized that I just didn’t want to have to fight with my current desk setup. So, I spent the day building a new desk. It’s 60 inches wide and 30 inches deep with an adjustable keyboard tray. I used our old dinning room table for the desktop and the file cabinets and shelves from my old desk to build it. It’s cobbled together, but the colors of the pieces are pretty close, so it doesn’t look all that bad. I’m happy now and ready to start writing again. Later.
